About
Hi. Welcome to my official website!
I realize there’s nothing much “official” about it, and it’s probably not the razzle dazzle website that some of you may have been expecting, but like most of those who know me would say….it reflects me….down to earth and to the point. I’m sure we’ll get round to changing the look and feel in the near future…but for now enjoy the look because with this layout there is no need for any personal photo’s of me – so it’ll be much easier on your eyes!
So who am I? That’s a very good question!
Some of you will be visiting this website because you already know me personally or through one of my several businesses, some may (unfortunately) remember me from the comical edit of The Apprentice UK (Series 1) and others, perhaps, know nothing about me (which some would argue is by far the best position to be in!).
So, assuming an average knowledge of naught, here’s a little bit about me…
My journey to today started about 15 years ago. After graduating from University with a degree in Law, and having decided against pursuing a career in the legal profession, I faced a choice:
- To take the safe route, to find a job, and work my way to the top; or

- To follow my heart and my dreams and to do something special with my life.
To be honest, it was not a hard choice. I wanted to be able to look back at my life and feel that I had tried to achieve what I believed in, and that I had tried to make a difference. I decided that I would rather die having failed, than not having tried. And so I set upon a journey which for the first few years had more downs than up (if any ups at all).
I started my first venture with a new concept which was well ahead of its time. Whilst the concept was right and whilst the business grew threefold, it continued to make losses….losses which I could not financially support by myself. And so, after 18 months of working almost every hour of every day, I had to make the gut wrenching decision to close the business down, and at the same time enter into personal bankruptcy.
What followed was by far the lowest ebb in my life. Not only had I had lost hard earned money that I had borrowed from family members, but I had also lost the trust of many around me. It was a very lonely period but one in which I continued to remember that my plight was nowhere near as bad as the plight of the millions of people around the world that were struggling for life or who were dying alone – and it was the thought of these people that gave me the strength to carry on.
So despite everything, I kept believing in my dreams, and more importantly, I kept believing in myself. I refused to accept defeat and became more determined than ever – I was ready to die for the cause. And so I continued to make decisions for the long term – even though those decisions continued to cause further hardship in the short term.
The rest is, as they say, history. From the ashes of my first business failure and the hardship, hurt and loneliness that followed, I entered a period of sustained success during which I grew my own offshore outsourcing company from scratch and was involved in several other very successful ventures.
Then having sold my main business at the beginning of 2008, I took some time out to plan and implement the next phase of my life’s plan…culminating in the ventures that I am presently involved in….bringing me to today.
